01

Pick a trip, pick the gear, or pick both

Most weekends fall apart in the planning, not on the road. So we split the work into four pieces you can book separately: a ready-made trip, gear that arrives at your door, a catalog of stops worth driving to, and a turnkey itinerary with lodging and transfer already handled. Take one of them, or stack all four into a single weekend.

Ready-made weekend trips

Pre-planned routes and unique itineraries within 200 miles of San Jose, built around a theme — coastline, redwoods, high desert — so you pick a trip, not a to-do list.

Every trip is written out before you book: where you sleep, how far you drive each day, which stops are worth the detour, and how much of Sunday you lose getting home. You read it, you book it, you leave.

  • Themed routes instead of a pin dropped on a map
  • Driving times and stops laid out day by day
  • Add gear, lodging, or transfer to any trip

Ready-to-go gear rental

Rooftop tents, glamping equipment, SUP boards, and picnic kits, delivered set up or ready to load, and picked up when the trip is over.

Nothing to buy, nothing to store in a garage for eleven months of the year, and no evening spent working out whether a tent fits your roof rack. Book gear on its own, or attach it to a trip you've already picked.

  • Rooftop tents and glamping kits, delivered set up where the package allows
  • SUP boards and picnic kits ready to load
  • Setup instructions included where setup isn't
Includes: delivery and pickup Gear: tents, SUPs, glamping kits

Location catalog with audio guides

Vetted stops and viewpoints within reach of the city, each with a short audio guide so you know what you're looking at without a guidebook.

Every location in the catalog has been checked by someone who actually drove there — parking, access, the time of day it's worth seeing. Use it to build your own route, or to fill the gaps in a trip you've already booked.

  • Verified stops only — no crowd-sourced guesswork
  • Short audio guides that play from your phone, signal or not
  • Build your own route from the catalog in an evening

Fully planned trips

Lodging, transfer, and insurance coverage bundled into one booking for trips where you'd rather not manage three separate reservations.

One itinerary, one price, one number to call if the weather turns on Saturday morning. This is the option for the weekend you decided on Wednesday and leave for on Friday.

  • Lodging and transfer booked with the trip, not after it
  • Insurance coverage where the plan includes it
  • A single support contact for the whole weekend
Includes: lodging, transfer, insurance Best for: trips with little lead time

How people usually put it together

The four pieces aren't packages you have to choose between. Here's how most weekends actually get booked.

Trip + gear

The default weekend

A ready-made route with a rooftop tent delivered Friday and collected Sunday evening. You drive, we handle everything that needs loading and unloading.

Gear only

You already know the spot

You have the campsite and the plan. You just don't own two SUP boards and a picnic kit. Rent them for the weekend, delivered where you need them.

Catalog + turnkey

Short notice, no logistics

Pick stops from the catalog, and we book the lodging, transfer, and insurance around them so the whole weekend arrives as one itinerary.

03

What's included and what's not

The same terms apply whether you book one piece or all four, so there's nothing to work out at the end of the trip.

What's included

  • A written itinerary or trip plan before you book
  • Gear delivery and pickup for rental bookings
  • Access to the location catalog and audio guides
  • Support contact for the duration of your trip
  • Insurance coverage on trips where it's included in the plan

What's not included

  • Fuel and vehicle costs, unless a rental vehicle is part of the package
  • Meals beyond what a specific trip package states
  • Entrance fees to parks or attractions not listed in the itinerary
  • Damage to rented gear beyond normal wear
  • Travel outside the 200-mile service radius

Pricing depends on the trip, the gear you rent, and whether lodging and transfer are bundled in. Browse a trip or gear listing to see the exact price before you book.
